Leadership and Understanding How to Achieve Qualities Today I am going to define the term leadership for you so that you may have a better understanding of the word in relations to letters verses meaning.
(L) L stands for Leverage, which means to that you need skills in adjusting to the different situations that you will encounter on your journey of becoming a leader. You have to have advantages, which facilitates, you freedom to move around in various directions. You have to set the limits to how far you will go to get the job done. You have to set your goals so that they are able to reach the goals and not set the goals so high that you that you become frustrated and fail to reach those goals.
(E) Excitement, you have to have excitement about the job position of taking the lead. Rather you need inspiration to take you to the top of your journey. You are not going to be good at something that you don't like doing. Having a job can be fun or a living nightmare. I suggest that you find something that you like doing.
(A) Attitude, you have to have a can do attitude at what time you are a leader. According to the position that you hold you may face situations that you think or feel you will not be able to handle. It is important that you have the attitude that you can do anything that you put your mind to doing. However, if you have questions you don't have to be afraid to ask for help as long as you get the job done. Asking for help is a humility act of leadership and nothing is wrong with asking questions.
(D) Determination, In order to get something done, you have to work and work until the task is complete. You have to try to try again, if the first time you don't succeed. You are not going to be perfect at what you do, but you can learn to be an expert at it.
(E) Eager, you have to be eager to learn new things. Everyday you will learn something new. You can't be a leader and not want to be more. You have to want to reach the top and not fall back down. What I mean by this is that you have to build a solid foundation to stand on and set up boundaries, which meets your human abilities.
(R) Responsible, you have to face up that you are accountable for everything that happens under your watch. It is up to you to make sure that everything is done to certain standards, and finished by the time expected of you to complete the task. .
(S) Social able, you have to be able to talk to everyone; you can't be shy and hold back feelings. That would only complicate your job. You can't walk around sticking your nose up at people because you are no better than the next person is, yet you have to use assertiveness and confidence to state your case.
(H) Honesty, you have to tell the truth about everything no matter whose feelings you may hurt. In the business world, you can't wear your heart on your sleeve. Honesty is the first on the list for becoming a great leader.
(I) Intelligent, you have to be very smart and straightforward.
(P) Patience, you have to deal with a lot at one time and put up with various types of people to succeed. You can't be the type that quits every time the going gets tough; rather you have to be able to take the heat.
